The Croatian pairing was among the contenders for both ERC3 and ERC3 Fiesta Rally3 Trophy honours in 2024, despite being new to the six events they contested aboard their Pirelli-equipped Ford Fiesta Rally3.
After finishing fourth and second in the ERC3 Drivers’ and Co-Drivers’ standings this season, the brother and sister team want to make further progress in 2025 with an ERC3 campaign once again the target.
“Our plan is to try to drive for the whole season in ERC and we will try to find some sponsors to do this,” said Martin Ravenščak, 28. “So if someone is reading this, they can contact us on our social medias and we will keep our fingers crossed!
“We learned everything, so many things in 2024. I know I need not to watch the results from the guys in front, I need to take care of myself and Dora to keep it on the road and try to push more and try to gain more confidence stage by stage. The ERC is very competitive and I hope even more Rally3 cars and drivers will come so it will be more competitive.”
For 31-year-old Dora Ravenščak, the season ended with the capture of the runner-up spot in the FIA European Rally Championship for Co-Drivers. “It was a really good season,” said Dora Ravenščak, who previously co-drove her father Krešimir.
“It was something new for us on a much higher level than we are used to. It’s really been a blast and we’re very happy to be here. Hopefully we can be here next year.”
A partnership inside and outside the car
Martin and Dora Ravenščak don’t just compete together, they also work together, as Dora explained. “We own a family company renting business properties like warehouses and shops so we also work together. In the car Martin is the boss but in the office I am the boss.
“Because we are brother and sister it’s actually easier for us. We know when one of us is nervous or angry or anything, we know how to calm each other down. And if we don’t know how to calm each other down we know we will fight and in 10 or 20 minutes we’ll again be best fiends so it’s a good relationship to have in the car.”
